2018- Solid, friendly local con!
Venue: Super nice college campus! Access to starbucks, tim hortons, and food all in the same building as the con. Parking wasn't the nightmare I thought it was going to be- plenty of space on the campus on weekends (just wait for classes to end to begin load-in!)
Staff: Some confusion early on aside, the staff is all college students but they were very attentive and helpful! Watched my table, helped me bring stuff from my car, went above and beyond.
Layout: A little weird- vendors were on the first floor, artists were split into two rooms. Despite the fact that one room was called "crafters bazaar" there were 2D artists placed there too. Wish they would have made it more clear to attendees that there are two rooms, and that the spaces were named appropriately.
Attendance: Small, but loyal con-goers (people who said they've gone every year or since they attended UB). Sunday was mostly repeat attendees, no one really new, though.
Affordability: While hotels in the area are pricey (thanks, Niagara Falls tourism...), the table is cheap and overall I made plenty of sales. Probably not worth a flight, but worth a long drive if you can cut costs of an overnight stay somehow.
Overall: Will definitely do again! Great small con, lots of interest in original artists' projects, and friendly con staff. Again, probably best for those who can drive in from neighboring states and cut the cost of the hotel somehow.

Below review by Jessica is for the wrong con.
Just to let people know, the above review describes what I believe to be ToraCon, not UBCon. UBCon artist alley and vendors are in separate spaces and not in a gym, and there are no food trucks, but this description sound very accurance for ToraCon at RIT. I have loved UBCon in the past, but it has had some serious management issues for artists over the past two years. A new director is making efforts to reach back out to us, so I will wait to write a formal review until we see how that shakes out.

Affordable and fun
We were in the back facing the wall and it didn't effect how our sales went at all! The AA and Vendors room is in the same big gym a bit of a walk from the panel rooms but had AMAZING food trucks parked out front.
Was pretty busy all weekend and was my most profitable con all year. AA head was a bit hard to find since she wasn't at the AA entrance the entire time during setup so i was wandering all over the room trying to find her to get my badge and table assignment. Everything else went off without a hitch!

I would recommend this AA for beginners due to affordability and con size.
