Con Ja Nai

For this being a 1 day show at a college with no admission fee, I honestly didn't know what to expect. I had been going to Animania events for the last 11 years on and off. They were always well run but this was only the second time they ever had vendors. And they nailed it! The venue is the Languages building, which is awesome for the con events! But very weird for vendors and artists. In the end, they made the layout work for them and us quite well! There were lulls during events but there was enough time in between them for people to shop. We were on the first floor and the building is oval shaped. It was easy for attendees to walk in and walk the entire hallway to see all the vendors and artists!

Another great feature was the caring and attentive staff. We were checked on and spoken to kindly all day by the staffers! They made sure we were happy with our sales and the crowd. Our sales were not like OMG AMAZING but they were definitely high enough we would love to attend this event again. It was quite relaxing, profitable, and well put together! Bring a lunch or a someone to take turns getting lunch with though! There are only soda machines in the building!

The spot for the vendors was $50 but you could do whatever you wanted with your space and sell what you wanted. I'm not sure how much the artist alley spots were but they were less and it seemed to be mostly print artists and they setup on tables. I hope my review helps! I love this show and I can't wait for next year!!
